For the past three years, Linda Rahmer has volunteered her photography services to the Broward County/Kiwanis Division 23 & 24 Christmas in July event. Christmas in July brings together more than 700 homeless children from area shelters to enjoy a day of fun, food and entertainment. The children also receive much needed school supplies and clothing for the upcoming school year. Linda has done a fantastic job documenting all the events of the day, from the children arriving, doing arts and crafts, playing carnival games to jumping in the bounce houses. She has always presented us with a great variety of shots, including staged and action shots. Her easy-going style allows her to put people at ease and allows her to keep control in a hectic situation. The Christmas in July committee has used many of Linda's photographs in promotional and marketing materials. Her photographs has allowed potential donors to really capture the excitement of the children and experience the true spirit of the event.
